These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FindMeTool (https://findmetool.com) and its online utilities (the "Service"), operated by Misconfigs LLC. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Agreement

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Misconfigs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Your use of any tool, page, or feature on the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

FindMeTool provides free, browser-based online utilities, including developer formatters and reference utilities, QR code generation, browser-based image utilities, and General tools (age, timers, random numbers, and unit conversion). The Service is offered at no charge and does not require registration.

Tools may run in your browser, on our hosting infrastructure, or through other methods we introduce over time. Tool behavior, availability, and supported formats may change without notice.

The Service is intended to help users with everyday online tasks and does not guarantee correct, complete, or secure outcomes for any task.

No professional relationship. Your use of the Service does not create any fiduciary, advisory, agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, doctor-patient, attorney-client, broker-client, or other professional relationship between you and Misconfigs LLC. We owe you no duty of care beyond what these Terms expressly require.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws, workplace policies, and third-party agreements.

You may not use the Service if prohibited by applicable export control or sanctions laws. You represent that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or acting on behalf of any sanctioned jurisdiction or restricted party listed under applicable U.S. or international sanctions programs.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law
Process data you do not have the right to handle, including confidential, personal, or regulated information you are not authorized to submit
Upload, paste, or process malware, abusive content, or material that infringes others' rights
Abuse the platform, including excessive automated requests, scraping that harms availability, quota evasion, or harassment of our staff
Attempt to probe, scan, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service as a commercial product without our written permission
Use the Service in a manner that violates applicable law or third-party rights

You represent that you have authority to submit materials you enter into tools and that doing so does not breach any confidentiality, employment, or contractual obligation.

We may restrict or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

5. Tool inputs & user content

Text, files, and other material you enter into tools ("User Content") remain yours. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, store, process, analyze, and display User Content solely as needed to operate, secure, improve, and develop the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not guarantee that User Content is private, confidential, or free from collection. Do not submit passwords, API keys, tokens, personal data, or other sensitive information unless you accept the risk that it could be collected, stored, logged, or processed by us or our service providers.

We may refuse to process, block, or discard User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or poses a security or operational risk.

No duty to maintain backups. We do not undertake any obligation to retain, archive, or maintain backups of User Content or tool output. You are responsible for maintaining copies of any information you wish to preserve.

6. Tool results & disclaimer

The Service provides automated utilities for general information only, not professional, legal, or security advice of any kind.

No tool output is a guarantee that data is valid, accurate, secure, compliant, or suitable for any purpose, including production systems, clinical care, or safety-critical use. Results may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, rounded, or inappropriate for your specific situation. We may make errors in formulas, labels, defaults, examples, documentation, or underlying logic, and we do not warrant that we will detect or correct them.

You are solely responsible for evaluating, validating, testing, and implementing any decisions based on tool output. FindMeTool does not determine whether you meet any medical, legal, regulatory, or industry requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any actions, omissions, losses, or damages you suffer based on tool output or your reliance on it. See Section 9 for limitation of liability.

If downloaded or copied output conflicts with these Terms, these Terms control.

6A. Assumption of risk & release

BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH RELYING ON TOOL OUTPUT, CHARTS, EXPLANATORY CONTENT, OR THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND ADS.

You acknowledge that automated utilities can produce materially wrong results even when they appear precise, polished, or visually convincing. You agree that you will not treat any output as verified, audited, certified, or suitable for production, clinical, legal, compliance, or safety-critical use without independent verification by qualified professionals and authoritative sources.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you release Misconfigs LLC and its personnel from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising from or related to your access to or use of the Service, your reliance on tool output or page content, or decisions you make based on them. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code § 1542 to the extent permitted by law with respect to such released claims.

6B. Tool-specific information

The live Service today focuses on developer utilities, image tools, and general calculators. Additional categories may be added or removed over time; each tool page shows only the disclaimers that apply to that utility.

Developer tools (formatters, QR code generation, text utilities, and reference lookups) are convenience utilities only. They are not penetration tests, security audits, or guarantees that data or systems are safe. Do not paste production secrets unless you accept the risk of exposure.

Image tools process files in your browser where possible. They are not professional photo-editing, design, or accessibility compliance services. Verify output before publishing or printing.

Reference tools (such as HTTP status codes and MIME type lookup) display published reference data we review on a schedule. They may be incomplete or outdated.

No duty to update. We are not obligated to keep any tool synchronized with changes in law, fuel markets, medical guidelines, or third-party APIs.

Third-party trademarks. The Service may reference brand names for identification, descriptive, or disclosed affiliate purposes (for example DigitalOcean). FindMeTool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those third parties unless we explicitly say otherwise. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. See our Trademark notice.

6C. Charts, graphs & visualizations

Some tools display charts, graphs, trend lines, bar charts, or other visualizations derived from the same simplified inputs and formulas as numeric output. Visualizations are illustrative only and inherit all limitations of the underlying calculations.

Charts may smooth, round, omit, extrapolate, or compress data for display. Axis scales, colors, labels, and legends are not guarantees of magnitude, timing, probability, or outcome. A chart that looks favorable or conservative can still be wrong. Do not make medical, travel, or safety decisions based solely on a chart shown on the Service.

7. Third-party services & advertising

The Service relies on third-party providers, including, without limitation, Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Google (Analytics and AdSense advertising), Sovrn (display advertising), and font or content delivery networks. Your use of those services may be subject to the third party's own terms and policies.

Advertising

FindMeTool is free to use and may be supported by advertising. We may display ads through Google AdSense, Sovrn (via Prebid/header bidding), and other third-party advertising networks or partners we authorize from time to time. Ads may appear on tool pages, category pages, articles, and other areas of the site.

Advertisements are provided by third parties. We do not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for advertised products, services, offers, or the content on advertiser landing pages. Clicking an ad may take you to a third-party website governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy.

Ad placement, format, frequency, and the advertisers shown may change at any time without notice. Tool results, calculator outputs, and editorial content on FindMeTool are independent of advertising and are not influenced by whether or how ads are displayed.

Third-party advertisers and ad partners may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, including interest-based advertising, as described in our Privacy Policy. Authorized digital sellers for ads on this domain are listed at https://findmetool.com/ads.txt (including Google AdSense and Sovrn entries).

Affiliate disclosure

We earn commissions when you shop through the links below. FindMeTool participates in affiliate marketing programs, including the DigitalOcean affiliate program and other partner programs we may join from time to time. Some links on the Service are affiliate links: if you click a link and then purchase a product or service, or sign up for an account, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not change the price you pay. They also do not change our editorial independence: tool results, calculator outputs, rankings, and recommendations are not sold or altered to favor an affiliate partner. We may receive tracking cookies or similar identifiers from affiliate networks when you click an affiliate link, as described in our Privacy Policy.

A short affiliate disclosure appears at the top of pages on the Service. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to a third-party website governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for products, services, pricing, billing, or support offered by affiliate partners.

We are not responsible for the availability, performance, actions, ad content, billing practices, or failures of third-party services, including outages, analytics gaps, changes to third-party APIs, or disputes with advertisers or affiliate partners. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim arising from a third-party service, advertisement, or affiliate offer is solely between you and that provider.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT TOOL OUTPUT WILL BE COMPLETE, RELIABLE, ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR FIT FOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY THAT TOOL RESULTS ARE FREE FROM MISTAKES OR OMISSIONS.

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICE IS TO STOP USING IT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MISCONFIGS LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, HEALTH HARM, BODILY INJURY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, SECURITY INCIDENT, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR SYSTEMS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, ANY TOOL OUTPUT, CHARTS, EXPLANATORY CONTENT, OR ADVERTISEMENTS. INCLUDING ANY RELIANCE ON SLEEP, TRAVEL, DEVELOPER, OR REFERENCE TOOL OUTPUT. EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR EVALUATING, VALIDATING, TESTING, AND IMPLEMENTING ANY DECISIONS BASED ON TOOL OUTPUT. YOU AGREE THAT MISCONFIGS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR OMISSIONS IN TOOL OUTPUT OR FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR RELIANCE ON IT.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE. SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Time limit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after the claim accrued; otherwise, it is permanently barred.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Misconfigs LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or related to: (a) your User Content; (b) your access to or use of the Service; (c) your reliance on tool output, charts, or explanatory content; (d) your violation of these Terms; (e) your violation of applicable law; or (f) your violation of any third-party rights.

We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense. You may not settle any claim that imposes obligations on Misconfigs LLC without our prior written consent.

11. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including software, trademarks, service marks, branding, documentation, and site design. You may use the Service for personal and commercial tasks, but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its code as your own product without permission.

You retain ownership of User Content you submit. You grant us the limited license described in Section 5 and our Privacy Policy to process that content solely to provide the Service.

12. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, immediately for violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, legal requirement, or to protect the Service, our users, or third parties.

Survival. Sections relating to disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, intellectual property, obligations under our Privacy Policy, and dispute resolution survive termination or expiration of these Terms, along with any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

13. Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, or remove tools, features, limits, or integrations at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to post material adverse changes on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Service.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

15. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms when caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, power or internet or telecommunications failures, government actions, embargoes, or failures or outages of third-party hosting, cloud, analytics, or network providers.

16. Dispute resolution & governing law

International users. If you reside outside the United States, these Terms are intended to be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights or protections you may have under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For any dispute that is not subject to arbitration under this section, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state courts located in San Francisco County, California, and the federal courts for the Northern District of California.

Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and allow at least thirty (30) days for us to try to resolve the dispute informally.

Binding arbitration. Except as set out below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration, not in court. Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under the rules applicable to the dispute, including the Consumer Arbitration Rules where applicable. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section.

The arbitration shall take place in San Francisco County, California, unless the parties agree otherwise. If conducted remotely, the arbitration shall be deemed seated in San Francisco County, California.

Individual claims only; class action waiver. You and Misconfigs LLC agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative proceeding.

Exceptions. Either party may (a) bring an individual action in small claims court in San Francisco County, California if the claim qualifies, or (b) seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to prevent infringement or misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Service.

Jury trial waiver. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EACH PARTY WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL FOR ANY CLAIM THAT PROCEEDS IN COURT.

17. Copyright & intellectual property complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us at [email protected] with sufficient detail to identify the material, the rights you claim, and your contact information. We may remove or disable access to material we reasonably believe infringes third-party rights.

18. General provisions

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Misconfigs LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings on that subject.

Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.

Electronic communications. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by posting on the Service. You agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.

Feedback. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant Misconfigs LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate them without restriction or compensation to you.

No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms are for the benefit of you and Misconfigs LLC only.
