Misconfigs LLC is a U.S. software company that builds and maintains FindMeTool. We are developers and product builders, not licensed physicians, attorneys, or security professionals.

Our site is a collection of free browser utilities: formatters, image tools, timers, and lightweight calculators. They help you work faster, they do not create a professional-client relationship of any kind.

The live catalog includes 35 tools across these categories:

• Developer: JSON/YAML/XML formatters, HTML/CSS/JavaScript beautifiers, Markdown preview, QR codes, text utilities, HTTP status reference, and Unix timestamps.
• Image: compress, resize, crop, convert formats, and extract text (OCR), processed locally in your browser when supported.
• General: age and duration calculators, timers and stopwatches, unit conversion, and random number generation.

• Local tool input: for most tools, what you paste or upload is processed in your browser with JavaScript and is not uploaded to our servers for processing. Page loads, analytics, and ads still use the network; see our privacy policy.
• Tested logic: calculation and parsing engines have automated unit tests. Tool pages include sample cases where outputs are deterministic.
• Original page copy: each tool has unique how-it-works text, FAQs, and (where useful) longer About sections written for human readers, not keyword stuffing.
• Reference data on a schedule: a few tools rely on published reference tables (for example HTTP status codes and MIME type mappings). Those datasets are tracked in an internal content registry and re-checked on a recurring cadence.
• Clear error messages: parsers and formatters aim to explain common mistakes (such as trailing commas in JSON) instead of surfacing raw engine errors.

A small set of tools depends on published reference tables that can change when standards bodies register new codes or media types. We track each dataset below with its official source, affected tool pages, review cadence, and the date we last verified values against that source.

Automated freshness checks run before production deploys. When a dataset is overdue, we open the official references, update source files, adjust tests if outputs change, and bump the verification date.

Developer utilities either transform your input correctly or report a parse/validation error. When they succeed, the output reflects the algorithm described on the page, not a hidden third-party rewrite.

Calculators use simplified models. They ignore real-world noise, traffic, time zones, individual needs, and schedule changes, that would matter in a professional plan.

Reference lookups can drift when standards bodies update codes or media types. A value that was correct when we last verified it may change later. Check the tool page disclaimer and our Terms of Service before relying on any output for important decisions.

Every tool page includes an informational disclaimer. Specialized blocks (for example developer/security, sleep scheduling, or travel planning) appear only when they apply to that specific tool, a JSON validator does not carry a sleep or travel disclaimer.

Short notices also appear in About sections and, where relevant, in tool output (such as fuel price reference data). None of this is professional advice.

The site may reference well-known brands for identification or disclosed affiliate purposes (for example DigitalOcean on developer tool pages). FindMeTool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those companies unless we say so explicitly. See our Trademark notice.
